As a supplier of workwear and PPE to local authorities and their contractors one of the most popular sections of our product catalogue is the waterproof section.

Getting hold of good quality waterproof clothing that is comfortable, functional and keeps their workers dry is a top priority for most of the contract managers, department heads and health & safety managers we deal with.

For that reason we’ve spent a lot of time making sure that the range of options we provide is high quality and comprehensive.

We have a wide range of options from basic wetsuit” kits through to Gore-Tex jackets and over-trousers.

Some of our favourite products are:

The Clovelly Executive Hi-Vis Jacket. This anorak provides the perfect blend of performance, comfort and value-for-money.  It provides high levels of waterproof performance and breathability and is a popular choice for a wide range of organisations carrying out waste collections and highways work.  It is also interactive with a range of inner layer (or mid layer) garments from the Leo Workwear range; such as the Buckland Softshell or the Hartland Fleece, this helps ensure that the Clovelly is excellent for all-year use providing waterproofness and breathability in the Spring and Autumn and warmth in the winter months.

We also love the Instow Cargo Overtrouser.  This can be easily paired with Clovelly jacket to offer a complete waterproof solution for outdoor workers.  The Instow also offers excellent performance in inclement conditions.  They continue to be one of our most popular products throughout the Autumn/Winter season.

For workers who are battling with the worst of weather conditions or who require a higher level of performance we often recommend they trial the Marisco Jacket and Lundy Overtrousers.

Also from the Leo Workwear range, these products offer extremely high protection and comfort.

They are both rated to the highest available rating under EN 343:2019 and have also passed the rain tower test for high intensity conditions (see our explanation of EN 343 and the rain tower test here).  They not only meet the requirements but exceed them comfortably.

We can also accommodate companies who want to reduce their environmental impact.  With products like the Dartmoor Jacket, Northam Salopettes or Watertown Coverall.  These products are made from fabric constructed from recycled plastic bottles and are a great way to reduce the environmental impact of your workwear solutions.

If you want to get hold of any of these garments to give them a trial then pop your details in the form below and we’ll get in touch to arrange a workplace trial.
